Our aim is to offer a wide range of high quality fabrics varying in colour and composition. Many of these materials have been selected because of their subtleties, both in colour and weave. We believe this offers a depth that otherwise would be lacking.

                               We have made every effort to photograph and portray these qualities accurately, but reproductions on photographs and computer monitors can vary from reality and at times some of the qualities are not represented as accurately as we would like to present. Even so, the quality of the actual fabrics that your tailored suit is made with will always be superior to the photographic quality.



In today’s world most men expect their suits to be worn in quite different situations and roles, from business meetings and job interviews through to Valentine’s Day dinners. We at SilkSuitsYou believe that one of the main elements that separates our quality hand tailored suits from the standard off-the peg range and other internet sites is the choice of fabrics that we offer.

Along with the solid colours available for our bespoke suits, we offer an imaginative range of pinstriped and other patterned fabrics that use colour, stitching and weaves to create a depth and dimensionality to the fabrics that are not usually seen in men’s suits. If you examine the suit materials on our fabrics pages you will see that we offer tasteful cross-hatched and plaid patterns as well as subdued stripes created by stitching –often of several complementing colours – and by variations in the weave. Suits can be conservative yet do not need to be boring.

SilkSuitsYou's tailor made suits come in a variety of fabrics: apart from our 100% wool bespoke suits, our silk/wool mix contains 35% silk and 65% wool. This produces a stable and durable fabric combined with the fineness and comfort that silk provides. Nevertheless it is still a lighter fabric, suited for the summer or the office. Cashmere is renowned for its softness and durability - its natural insulation and ability to breathe makes it a warm fabric in winter and a cool one in the spring. The fabric percentages are again 35%/65%
